WTJ TKO finished 3rd in Gold at the Ft. Worth Cowtown Volleyfest Tournament on February 18th, after being knocked out by the Woodland Stars 16 Gold, but not by much (25-18, 25-23). The team put up a great fight and also showed a tremendous amount of teamwork all weekend. Catherine Warren led the team in kills (23), Kortni Regan led in digs (40), Marianne Cayce added 8 service aces, and Jade Freeman had an outstanding 51 assists.

This weekend in Amarillo for the Club Amarillo Qualifier Tournament, WTJ TKO finished first in their pool, but quickly lost their first bracket play game, putting them out of the tournament. In place of TKO's middle blocker and setter, they picked up two players from the 16-1 team (Wicked): Callie Stewart and Brianna Dory. Christina Farrell had 5 blocks, Marianne Cayce had 7 aces, and Jade Freeman had 42 assists. Brianna Dory added 18 kills, with the highest hitting percentage of the team,
and Callie Stewart added 11 digs to be the top digger.

In this weekend's Texas Tumbleweed Volleyball Classic tournament (March 3-4), WTJ TKO finished tied for 5th in the silver bracket (tied for 12 overall out of 21 teams). Outstanding stats recorded: Kortni Ragan led the team in digs with 68, Catherine Warren had 26 kills and 5 service aces, and Marianne Cayce added 5 service aces as well. Chelsea Taylor had the highest hitting percentage of the team with a .342 %, Jade Freeman had a big 83 assists, and Christina Farrel added 9 blocks.

Outstanding stats and play were received from Catherine Warren as she led the team in kills (21) and also the highest hitting percentage. Libero, Kortni Ragan, led the team in digs (53), Jade Freeman added 4 aces, and setter, Chelsea Taylor, had a tremendous 56 assists.

In the Dallas Lonestar Classic Volleyball Tournament, WTJ TKO placed 80th of 176 teams. Struggling with serve receive, they still did a good job overall. Recognitions go to Jordan Bice with 4 aces, Kortni Regan (Libero) with 65 digs, and Christina Farrell with 6 blocks. Both setters, Jade Freeman and Chelsea Taylor contributed with 37 and 20 assists. Chelsea Taylor also had the highest hitting percentage for the weekend at .214%.
