ON THE WAY TO NATIONALS, West Texas Juniors 18-1 Burn took the Regional Championship in Albuquerque, NM, this past weekend by defeating Amarillo's PVP 18-1 team.

On Saturday, 2/16/08 Fierce defeated two of the teams in their pool; Stephenville Jrs. 17 (24-26, 25-11 & 15-10) and NW Louisiana 17 Flying Aces (25-3 and 25-13). Fierce lost to Texas Select 18 National 11-25 and 22-25.
After pool play, Fierce continued on in the Gold bracket on Sunday, 2/17/08 where they defeated Texas Select 17 National 25-21 and 25-12. Fierce lost to Raiders Volleyball 17-1 25-23, 23-25 and 10-15.

MLK Tournament
|
WTJ Boss won the 17-1 CHAMPIONSHIP match at the MLK TOURNAMENT in the Metroplex, January 11&12, 2008.
They went undefeated to take the GOLD as they conquered Ellis Co. (25-22, 25-15), Storm 17(25-10, 25-12), Summit 17 Elite (25-12, 25-18), Nitro (25-5, 25-16), TAV (25-16, 25-18), and finally defeated Texas Assault 17-1 to take the MLK 17 Division CHAMPIONSHIP Title for 2008 with scores of 25-15, 25-22.
Those who participated were Ashley Collier, Mills Davis, Melanie Del Bosque, Brianna Dory, Michelle Kuse, Laura Price, Chelsea Taylor, Catherine Warren, Trinity Walker and Coach Sarah Rodriquez.
